Each month we’ll be taking 5 minutes with the Interactive Team so you can get to know the faces behind the numbers.

Meet our newest Graduate in Melbourne – Euwyn Goh.

Euwyn joined us at the beginning of 2020 and is no stranger to the world of startups having worked as an accounting/operations coordinator at innovation hub Stone & Chalk before joining us. He loves all things startup & tech and in particular is passionate about the ethics around emerging technologies.  Euwyn brings his enthusiasm and curiosity to his portfolio of Melbourne bookkeeping clients- always looking to find the insights within the numbers..

Three words that best describe you:

Motivated, positive, people-person

Tell us about your hobbies:

I enjoy creating things in my spare time.  This can be anything from building apps to designing things.  I also like jamming with friends or catching a good movie and won’t say no to a game of futsal and badminton.

If you had to eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Malaysian food – specifically fried kuey teow.

If you were being introduced at a conference/sporting match, what would your walk-out music be?

I’m a big fan of jazz and neo-soul music so probably ‘Time Alone with You” by Jacob Collier.

Aside from your main role at Interactive Accounting, what other specialist (side hustle) skills do you bring to the table?

I build startups and no-code apps.  I have previously co-founded an edu-tech startup which went through two incubators.  I also love to produce music and design things as I used to be a brand designer. My latest project is Sailist– a website directory listing some 300+ programs in the Australian Startup ecosystem to help Founders find funding and support.

Another fun Euwyn fact is…

…that I eat abnormally slowly.

You’re happiest when…

Spending time eating out with my family

What are two things you can’t live without?

Coffee and the Internet.

What do you love most about working at Interactive Accounting?

The team here are really nice! But mainly, I always planned to get my hands dirty in accounting and one of my goals is to be able to tell the viability of a company at a glance of their financial statements. I love the fact that I’m getting the opportunity to do what I studied while still playing within the startup ecosystem, as many of our clients are Startups and VCs.
